Three Powerful Resources

"Never forget the three powerful resources God always makes available to us: Love, Prayer, and Forgiveness." H. Jackson Brown, Jr., Lifes's Little Instruction Book

Except the Lord build the house, they labor in Vain who build it... Psalm 127:1

Something about me

Dawn: Mid South USA, United States; Dawn lives in Mid-South USA, adores her husband of 21 years, and loves her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She graduated with a MSN in Family and Community Nursing, and became a mother after much time, prayer and miraculous effort. She is a voracious reader, a mediocre volleyball player, and a biking enthusiast. But nothing gives Dawn a better feeling than to prepare a dish or treat for a loved one to truly enjoy! She teaches her precious 7 year old son to bake and cook, just as her mother taught her.

On being a Mother

"A mother has perhaps the hardest earthly lot; and yet no mother worthy of the name ever gave herself thouroughly for her child who did not feel that, after all, she reaped what she had sown."--Henry Ward Beecher

Living Beautifully Every Day

It is so important to incorprate beauty and love into our lives so that even the most mundane of chores is in some small way elevated and validated as a daily ritual of beauty. Our home is vibrantly lived in, and loved. We like to think we live "Romantically" here in Blueberry Cottage. Romantic living is thoughtful, beautiful, and deliberate. If one decides to embrace it, all days will be truly LIVED, not just "passed."

Dawn's Favorite Scripture

"Sing, O Childless woman! Break forth into loud and joyful song...For the woman who could bear no children now has more than all the other woman." says the Lord. "Enlarge your house; build an addition; spread out your home! For you will soon be bursting at the seams..." ... All your sons will be taught by the Lord and great will be your children's peace. Isaiah 54:1-3, 13
