Try this Southwest Breakfast Recipe tomorrow morning-
7 oz cans green chili's
6 corn tortillas, cut in strips
16 oz spicy breakfast sausage, cooked & drained
1 lb shredded monterey jack cheese
8 eggs, beaten
1/2 c milk
1/2 tsp salt,
pepper, cumin, garlic salt, and onion salt
In greased 9 x 13 glass pan, spread 1 can of chilis, 1/2 of the tortilla strips, 1/2 of the sausage, and 1/2 of the cheese.
Repeat layers.
Beat eggs with milk and spices and pour over layered ingredients.
Refrigerate overnight.
Bake at 350ºF for 45-50 minutes.
Let sit 10 minutes before serving.
Serve it with salsa and sour cream.
Delicious, and smells so good to those family members just awakening!
